December, 2006 Jesse Hallo allemaal, Jullie hebben natuurlijk allemaal het vreselijk nieuws gehoord over de moord over de 8 jarige Jesse. Nu las ik op een nieuwspagina dat er kinderen waren die in hun msn allemaal de letter J. voor hun naam hadden gezet uit respect voor Jesse. Ik vond het zo indrukwekkend toen ik dat las, dat het me niet losliet. Mijn oproep is nu het hetvolgende. Laat iedereen die MSN heeft en zijn respect op nog een manier wil uitten, hetzelfde doen en iedereen oproepen om het ook voor zijn naam in msn te zetten. Hopelijk krijgen we zo in msn een hele lange sliert van respect voor dit acht jarig jongetje. Dank jullie wel. Because of my handicap i have to be in a wheelchair, but when i was a little girl and i was at a wedding or a party with my family and also my grandparents, then my grandfather carried me out of my wheelchair and held me in his arms and started to dance. This was always very special for me. At that time i could not have imagend that this would be a memory with a very special meaning later in my life.
Many years later i went to a concert of my favorite band called "Savannah", and the started to play the song "Lay Down Beside Me". At the same time, i saw a man walk towards a little girl and went back to the dancefloor with her on his arm. At that moment the first thing that came to my mind was the moment that my grandfather did that to me when i was a little girl, and tears came to my eyes. Not only sad tears but also happy tears, because that man and little girl and the band "Savannah" gave me back my grandfather at that time in a very special moment that i never will forget for the rest of my life.
